Title: Receiving and Customer Service Clerk

Type: Permanent Full-time

 

Job Objectives: 

The Receiving and Customer Service Associate will be responsible for overseeing the receiving and inventory management of First Nations Fuel and Kitasoo Band Store Company. They will work closely with the Ordering Manager to ensure that all products are received, sorted, and stocked in a timely manner. Additionally, they will provide customer service support to customers visiting the fuel station and store.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Notwithstanding the above general duties, an Receiving and Customer Service Clerk has the following job responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments of products and supplies
  • Sort, organize, and stock products in the appropriate locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that inventory levels are sufficient
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments
  • Assist customers with fuel station and store purchases, including processing transactions and providing information about products and services
  • Ensure that the store and fuel station are clean and organized at all times
  • Monitor product expiration dates and ensure that products are rotated appropriately
  • Assist with fuel station operations, including fueling vehicles and monitoring fuel levels
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Transport propane and fuel

Requirements:

  • A minimum of grade 12 or  have competency, knowledge, experience, or certification; 
  • Class 5 and or 7 driver’s licence;
  • Computer literate with some basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular Microsoft Word and Excel Software;
  • Ability to operate a cash register and process transactions
  • Experience with data collection and management;
  • Must be physically qualified to perform assigned duties in the field;
  • Ability to operate a cash register and process transactions
