The Klemtu Museum is owned at operated by the Kitasoo/Xai’xais First Nation, located in the village of Klemtu at the south end of the bighouse. The museum was established in 2002 to increase interest, knowledge and appreciation of Kitasoo/Xai’xais culture and history within our community and among visitors, by establishing, maintaining and continuously building Kitasoo/Xai’xais collections.

Open to the public, community members, and school presentations by appointment only.
