Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Job Type: One-year contract
Application Deadline: Open until filled
Under the general supervision of the Kitasoo Development Corporation, General Manager. The Maintenance Worker will repair and maintain all KDC facilities, and assets and assist with receiving freight for all KDC entities.
Main Duties
- Work with management in developing an asset management plan
- Ensuring all safety systems are functioning properly, including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
- Seasonal maintenance work such as snow removal and brushing
- Conducting routine maintenance on equipment, vehicles and building systems for KDC entities
- Doing pest control and landscaping
- Performing general maintenance tasks for the building or buildings, such as window washing, drywall repair, plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting and more
Employment Preferences
General
- A minimum of grade 12 or equivalent
- Demonstrate proficiency in maintenance skills
- Class 5 and or 7 driver’s licence
- Microsoft Office or excel experience
