Immediate Supervisor: General Manager
Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Band General Manager or Designate, the Mail/Freight
Carrier will be responsible for handling mail to and from seaplane, ferry services, post office and freight to
respective departments at specified times.
Duties Include: Notwithstanding the above general duties, a Mail/Freight Carrier has the following job
responsibilities:
Manage mail pick up and delivery to and from seaplane services, ferry services and post office;
Manage freight pick up and delivery to and from seaplane services, ferry services and respective
departments;
Ensure privacy and confidentiality in managing mail and freight carrier services;
Ensure timely responsibility in managing mail and freight carrier services;
Comply with the provisions of the Operations Manual;
Adhere to the Code of Conduct as contained in the Operations Manual;
Encourage and foster a team spirit within the organization and operations in general;
Carry out the instructions of the General Manager that is relevant to the position and as provided from
time to time.
Qualifications:

Cooperation – Job requires being pleasant with others on the job, displaying a good nature and
cooperative attitude;
Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Attention to Detail – Job requires being careful about details and thorough in completing tasks;
Good Health necessary to do manual labour;
Criminal Records Check is required.
Requirements:
Incumbent should possess valid driver’s license, insurance and driver experience;
Vehicle necessary for this position.
