The Community Protection Bylaw addresses the obligation of the Council of the Kitasoo Xai’xais Nation to ensure the safety of its Members and residents, particularly children and elders, and other vulnerable community members and to ensure that the remote location of its Reserves are managed in a way that maximizes the protection of its Members and residents, particularly children and other vulnerable community members.
