Recycling, Hazardous & Bulk Pick-ups

The following items should not be thrown in to day-to-day garbage but put out on the curb on their distinctive pick-up dates.  There will be an announcement put out the morning of Bulk & Hazardous pick-ups, all items including the recycling and garbage bins must be placed on the curb of the road.  If you have any questions, comments or concerns please contact the Band Office.

 

Curbside Recycling Pick-up – Every Wednesday

Please refer to the colored forms provided to each household regarding recyclable items

Red Bins – Papers

  • All paper products must be kept clean and dry so they can be recycled

Blue Bins – Containers

  • All bottles and containers must be rinsed and washed out so they can be properly recycled

 

Curbside Hazardous Waste Pick-up – First Wednesday of the Month 

All Hazardous Waste items must be in a container for pick-up

  • Paint and solvents
  • Automotive wastes (motor oil, antifreeze, etc.)
  • Electronics (TV, cell phones, mp3 players, etc.)
  • Mercury containing wastes (switches, fluorescent lighting, thermometers, etc.)
  • Batteries; aerosols and propane cylinders
  • Cleaning agents and caustics
  • Radioactive waste
  • Appliances containing refrigerant

 

Curbside Bulk Pick-up – Last Wednesday of the Month 

  • Furniture
  • Wood
  • Carpet
  • Any other large items that 2 crew can lift on a truck.
